Meet the Engineer

After graduating from Missouri University of Science & Technology with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2016, Tyler entered the job force as a Structural Engineer where he worked along side the brightest minds in the region to safely design our nations infrastructure. This infrastructure includes heavy highway bridges, box culverts, commercial buildings, apartments, residential dwellings, military bases, dams and levees.

Although his background is mostly structural, he also performs duties as a Geotechnical Engineer, where he completes subsurface investigations for dams, levees, and other infrastructure for the federal government.

Along with his design experience, Tyler has spent a significant amount of time in the field observing multi-million dollar construction projects where he provided guidance to contractors, performed field testing, & completed construction inspection services to ensure the project meets plans & specifications. Some notable projects that Tyler has worked on include renovations of Bartle Hall, MoDOT bridge repairs and replacements, and the Build KCI project where he worked on the design of the elevated roadway, approach, and departure ramps.

Tyler is still actively working in the engineering industry where he can continue to learn, and adapt to the latest emerging engineering technologies. During his career, he has continued to learn and grow as an engineer by obtaining his Professional Engineering license. Commonly referred to as a P.E., or Professional Engineer, this is the most prestigious accomplishment that can be earned in the field of engineering and shows peers, and the community that Tyler is competent in his field of study.
